Take the Affiliate Jump Into CPA Networks
CPA means "cost per action" and is proving to be very lucrative for those who know how to use it. It basically means that for each action such as someone signing up for free on the companies website you will get paid. Companies are now seeing that by taking educated risks and offering such tremendous rewards to CPA affiliates is actually working and they are making a lot of money with this new model. Let's take domain hosting for example and the offer's available through some hosting companies. Hosting costs somewhere around $5 a month and yet the hosting companies are paying affiliates out up to $100 for each small monthly sign up. Why? It is a pretty amazing model and it is easy to see why affiliates are looking to this as the golden goose of affiliate marketing. The difficult part is actually getting accepted by a CPA network. They require you to have a website that relates to the specific CPA offer you wish to promote. Once you are accepted by the network (which can include a telephone interview) you then have to apply for each individual offer and each promoter can still say no based on your site not being congruent with their offer.
You can promote a CPA offer without a website with direct linking but this will require you to have a landing page for each offer with graphics and some good sales copy on to get your offers giving you the best roi possible. Even if you do not know how to build landing pages or websites there is a way around it.
CPA networks seem to offer amazing rewards for simple actions but the advice is to learn the subject fully and don't jump in with costly PPC advertising until you really understand how to covert people into actions. It is lucrative but still has danger so tread with caution.
